Grounded Flight

This series of full-body standing sculptures masterfully contrasts the soaring energy of upward-reaching poses with the quiet vulnerability of tightly guarded, self-contained figures. Displayed on raw timber pedestals against deep black voids, their finishes—ranging from wet, high-gloss terracotta to chalky plasters laced with gold leaf—turn the human body into a timeless landscape of emotional struggle and triumph.
